You’ve now completed your application
We’ll email you to confirm we've received it.
There are a few things we need to do before we accept your application and send you your account details.
- We’ll check your identity and address if we haven’t already done so. We normally do this electronically, but we may also ask you to send us some documents.
- We may send you a confirmation form to sign and return.
- When we receive your confirmation form and any documents we’ve asked for, we’ll send your welcome letter with your account details, or an email if you’ve chosen to go paperless.
- We’ll also send confirmation of your NS&I number. You can then start using our online and phone service.
Of course, not all of these steps will apply to you if you’re already a customer and have registered for our online and phone service.
Your right to cancel
If you invest in Income Bonds but then decide they do not suit your needs, let us know in writing or call us within 14 days of receiving your welcome letter. We’ll then refund your money with any interest due.
