Changing the way you receive payments from NS&I

Are you registered to manage your savings online and by phone? If so, you can change your nominated bank account details by logging in or calling us.

Your nominated bank account must be:

  • A personal UK bank account, in your name
  • Registered to the same address as your NS&I account

Sorry, we cannot pay money into business accounts or via a third party service.

Update your nominated bank account

To change your details online, simply:

  1. Log in or register
  2. Go to ‘Your profile’ in the top menu
  3. Choose ‘Nominated accounts’
  4. You can then change the bank account(s) linked to your NS&I account(s)

When you add new bank details to your account, you’ll need your phone to hand as you’ll receive an automated call for added security.

Remove a nominated bank account

  1. Go to ‘Your nominated accounts’
  2. Click ‘Change’
  3. Use the dropdown menus to unlink your bank details from your NS&I account(s)
  4. A ‘Remove’ button will appear to delete your bank details

If you’re not registered, or have an Investment Account, you’ll need to complete a form and post it to us.
