You’ve now completed your application

We’ll email you to confirm we've received it.

There are a few things we need to do before we accept your application and send you the Bond record.

  1. We’ll check your and your child’s identity and address if we haven’t already done so. We normally do this electronically, but we may also ask you to send us some documents.
  2. We may send you a confirmation form to sign and return.
  3. When we receive your confirmation form and any documents we’ve asked for, we’ll send the Bond record.
  4. We’ll also send confirmation of your NS&I number. You can then start using our online and phone service. In the meantime you can still deal with us by post.

Of course, not all of these steps will apply to you if you’re already a customer and have registered for our online and phone service.

Can I change my mind?

No, sorry. As a Children’s Bond is a fixed rate investment with a set term there is no right to cancel after you invest. However, the Bonds can be cashed in early, subject to a penalty equivalent to 90 days’ interest on the amount cashed in.
