Living longer and prospering

October 2009

Contrary to popular belief, average life expectancy isn’t a measure of how long you’ll live. In fact, life expectancy improves with every year you live.

For example, at birth, your 50-year-old son had an average life expectancy of 77.2 years*.

Having reached 50, his average life expectancy is now 79.6 years*.

But by the time he reaches 80, his average life expectancy would be 87.7 years*

So you see, the longer you live the higher your life expectancy!
