Out to lunch

1 September 2007

Luncheon Vouchers are a thing of the past, and eating out for lunch can really add up.

Thinking about this kind of expenditure is a really simple way to start saving – if you can be bothered.

Instead of spending £5 or £6 each day, you could make your own lunch and spend more like £1 per day on ingredients.

£5 a day, adds up to £25 a week and that’s £1,300 a year. With practice and a little ingenuity, you could eat more healthily too.

Where next?
