Budget planner

June 2010

The first thing you need to do is to sort out the current state of your finances.

What’s coming in and what’s going out every month. Can you balance the budget? Are you ahead of the game? Could you afford to start saving for the future?

A good place to start is the budget calculator on the Moneymadeclear website.  It shouldn’t take you too long to fill in the figures. This is purely for your own benefit, nobody else will see it, so there’s no need to embroider the truth. You can be brutally honest.
