Financial information

1 May 2008

There are few among us who would place filing at the top of a list of interesting things to do.

No one likes admin and when it comes to financial matters the paperwork can make mountains in no time.

Bad enough when it’s your own papers, how much worse when somebody has to come in and do it for you – when you’re not there to talk to.

If someone else suddenly had to deal with your financial affairs, would they be able to find everything they needed?  Unlikely.

One of the most positive things you can do to help your family, your friends and trusted advisers is to make sure that your financial papers are in good order and your personal documentation is easily accessible.

Have a look at our Tools and tips section for checklists to help you manage your paperwork.
