Change - the only constant

1 May 2008

Things change, the wheel turns, and you constantly need to review your financial plans.

Even if you manage to sail on an even keel the ocean tide that is the world of tax and money, is in constant flux.

That is why getting advice is not just about the here and now. You have to try and anticipate the future and expect the unexpected. You have to determine how well the financial plans you have made for today will suit you tomorrow.

Very often it’s our families, the ones we are doing this planning for - the ones we leave behind - that have to sort out our affairs. So it is worth reminding ourselves what we need to do to keep things in order, for them.

You and your money can help you find out more about how to organise your affairs - have a look at our helpful checklists in Tools and tips for more information.
