Understandably kids find it hard to see the benefits of long term savings. After all, it’s just cash in the bank when it could be spent on the things they want now!

You can’t see it, you can’t touch and you certainly wouldn’t want to taste it! Children tend only to appreciate the value of money only when they come to spend it.
