Unclaimed prizes

Do you have an unclaimed Premium Bond prize? Everyone is contacted automatically when they win a prize. But there are occasions when people have moved and not told us. If you win a prize and we can't get in touch with you, we will hold on to the prize until you contact us.

Don't worry, there's no time limit for claims.
Prizes commonly become unclaimed because people forget to tell us their new address when they move house, they have forgotten Bonds were bought for them when they were a child or executors are unaware the Bonds are held when someone dies. In the last year, over a third (37%) of people who moved home did not tell all their financial providers their new address and nearly half (49%) find it difficult to remember all of the accounts they have opened over the years. I don’t know if I have won or not?

To check if you have an unclaimed prize, go to Have I won? and enter your Premium Bonds holder's number (not your Bond number).

I do not have a holder’s number or I have an incorrect number?

Write to NS&I with your name, date of birth, address and also previous name and address and then we will carry out a search.

I have moved house and am worried I may have lost any information regarding my Premium Bonds during the move before I have notified you/or I haven’t notified you

I have lost my Bond number and holder’s number
