It’s quick and easy to apply online. Help is available throughout and if you get stuck you can call us and a member of our customer service team will complete the sale for you over the phone.

Telephone

It’s easy to apply for Guaranteed Income Bonds over the phone and takes just a few minutes. Simply call us free on:

Our UK customer service team is available every day from 7am until midnight. For your security and to maintain the highest levels of service, calls may be recorded.

We will answer any final questions you may have and help you through the sales process. Please make sure you have the following information to hand:

  • A debit card in your name (Maestro/Switch or Visa Debit)
  • Your bank or building society sort code and account or roll number
  • If you already hold NS&I Guaranteed Income Bonds, Guaranteed Growth Bonds or Fixed Rate Savings Bonds, please provide your customer number

    Post

    If you wish to pay by cheque you’ll need to send your application in by post (or you can apply at a Post Office® - see below). Pick up a brochure from your local Post Office ® branch or call 0845 964 5000 and we’ll send you one. (Maximum call charge 4p per minute from a BT landline; charges from other providers may vary. For your security, and to maintain the highest level of service, calls may be recorded.) The brochure includes an application form and a postage-paid envelope for your convenience.

    If you wish to apply for Guaranteed Income Bonds to be held in trust, you will also need to send your application form in by post. Call us on 0845 964 5000 and ask for a Guaranteed Income Bonds trustee application form.
