INDEX-LINKED NATIONAL SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS CERTIFICATES CASH VALUES IN AUGUST 2004

The tables here give the August 2004 cash values for Index-linked Savings Certificates held for one year or more. The tables refer to certificates bought up to ten years ago.

Retail Prices Index

For working out these values in July, the Retail Price Index figure is 186.8. The increase in the Index over the year is 3%.

Notes to Editors

  • Unfortunately, we no longer offer access to historical data in downloadable format.
  • The charts show the exact value of a £100 Certificate including supplements, bonuses and extra interest.
  • All returns are tax-free.
  • Customers requiring more information or a valuation of a certificate older than ten years can call National Savings and Investments on 0845 964 5000.
  • National Savings and Investments' September cash values will be published on 10 August 2004.
