NS&I (National Savings and Investments) has today put its contract for media strategy, planning and buying services out to statutory tender. An advertisement will appear in the OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) on Wednesday 19 September 2007. The required service includes, but is not limited to: • Media strategy – integrated across offline, online media, ‘out of home’ NS&I is committed to developing long-term relationships with agencies that are able to demonstrate their ability to work in a collaborative environment. Therefore, agencies may bid for the provision of all or part of these services, either as a single entity or in partnership with other suppliers. “Our recent work has proved extremely successful at reaching new and existing customers and has led to record sales. We are looking for agencies that can build on this success and help deliver our new five-year strategy. “The media planning and buying tender will be followed shortly by five year statutory tenders for advertising and direct response marketing. NS&I are currently drawing up shortlists in conjunction with the Central Office of Information (COI).” ENDS
The successful agency will help to deliver NS&I’s new five-year strategy - ‘NS&I adding value’ which includes raising the profile of the NS&I brand and the improvements to its products and services while reducing the focus on Premium Bonds for the business as a whole.
