  • Responsible for: managing key relationships with Siemens Business Services, Post OfficeTM Ltd and other suppliers, maximising value to NS&I, its customers and stakeholders. Also responsible for the outsourced business model design and performance of a range of business support services.

Previous roles

1999-2002:  NS&I Head of Relationship Management

Responsible for delivery of operational services by Siemens Business Services and business alignment with NS&I.

1997-1999:  NS&I Project Manager

Responsible for delivery of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) project, including the business case development, procurement and negotiation process, that delivered the NS&I/Siemens Business Services outsourced operations contract.

1993-1997:  NS&I, Deputy Head and Head of Procurement

Responsible for development of a professional procurement capability within the Agency and delivery of reduced lifetime supply costs.

1988-1993:  Procurement Adviser

Responsible for designing and delivering procurement strategy across public and private sectors, including British Gas, Local Government and leading chemical/electronics suppliers.

1983-1988:  London Underground Ltd, Senior Buyer

Procurement and strategic roles, including extensive spells working on supplier sites developing "added value" business solutions.

Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
