September
Now that the summer holidays are over, weed out any debts you have accumulated over the past months and pay off your credit cards. Using the last days before the autumn weather sets in, try to rid your garden of any diseased plants and perennial weeds.
Cane and netting can be used to safely guard your crops against hungry animals and birds. Think about building up an emergency cash fund that guard against any one-off emergencies.
Ensure that your early apples don’t go to waste. Lift in the palm of your hand and give them a twist, if they are ripe it should part easily from the spur.
