June

Reflect. You’re half-way through the year. It’s a good opportunity to check that you’re on target for your savings and set yourself a goal for the second half of the year. You should also now see results from gardening in springtime, by harvesting early carrots, broad beans and peas. How do you need to get ready for the rest of the year?

Don't forget to examine your garden. Container-grown fruit and vegetables will need a regular liquid feed, and watch out for pests such as blackfly, caterpillars and greenfly.

Why not get involved - if you have any growing or savings tips to share please email them to growandsave@nsandi.com
