Fresh home-grown talent
For the third consecutive year NS&I and the RHS are giving aspiring garden designers the opportunity to showcase their talents at BBC Gardeners’ World Live. The event takes place on 16 to 20 June 2010 at the NEC Birmingham. Once all designs have been submitted for the competition and judged, three lucky winners will be awarded a £5,000 grant by NS&I to help them create and build their gardens. You don’t have to be a gardening expert to enter; you just need the creativity, imagination and ability to bring your garden design to life. The wining gardens will be displayed in the Grow Your Own area of the show and judged by a public vote. The designCompetition entrants must create a garden around the theme: Growing Gardens Today. We’re looking for designs that show a modern and innovative approach to growing your own fruit and veg. The focus of the garden must be fruit and vegetables, but otherwise it’s up to you!
